Dinamo closed out the Croatian Football League weekend with a 4–1 victory over Slaven Belupo on Sunday evening.
Arber Hoxha (40’), Sandro Kulenović (45+2’), Monsef Bakrar (56’) and Mateo Lisica (72’) scored for Dinamo, while Adriano Jagušić (67’) netted the lone goal for the visitors. Kulenović had a chance to add another in the 60th minute, but his penalty was saved by Slaven Belupo goalkeeper Osman Hadžikić.
Head coach Mario Kovačević made several changes from Wednesday’s Europa League match against Fenerbahçe. Kevin Theophile-Catherine started in place of Sergi Dominguez in defense, Ismael Bennacer replaced Miha Zajc, and Bakrar and Kulenović came in for Lisica and Dion Drena Beljo.
With the win, Dinamo moves three points clear of Hajduk at the top of the table.
Earlier tonight, Osijek beat Gorica 1-0, while on Saturday Hajduk snapped a three-game winless streak by defeating Lokomotiva 2-0.
