Prime Minister Plenković receives new U.S. Ambassador to Croatia

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković met the new U.S. Ambassador to Croatia, Nicole McGraw, for the first time on Tuesday. 

The meeting marked an official introductory visit, during which both officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the close and friendly relations between Croatia and the United States.

In a statement on X, the Prime Minister said he two discussed further cooperation in key areas such as the economy, energy, and defense. They also addressed global security challenges, ongoing peace efforts in Ukraine and the Middle East, and the broader situation in Southeast Europe.

The meeting highlights Croatia’s ongoing efforts to maintain strong diplomatic ties with the U.S. and its active role in regional and global security matters.
