Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ivan Anušić was on an official visit to Greece.
In Athens, Anušić met with his Greek counterpart, Minister Nikolaos Dendias.
Among other things, the ministers discussed cooperation within the air force and the navy and in strengthening their respective defense industries.
"We have very similar ideas on the security and stability of southeast Europe. We're trying to meet bilaterally with all southeastern European defense ministers in order to reach agreements aimed at maintaining stability and peace in southeast Europe," said Anušić.
Minister Anušić, who was joined by the Chief of the General Staff Colonel General Tihomir Kundid, gave a special thanks to Minister Dendias for supporting the continued stability of the Western Balkans and their further Euro-Atlantic integration.
This marked the first bilateral meeting of the defense ministers of Croatia and Greece.
