Bilateral meetings held ahead of the Three Seas Initiative summit

The Three Seas Initiative, which was influenced by the Polish interwar Intermarium concept, was launched in 2015 by Polish President Andrzej Duda and Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.

The Croatian Parliament is hosting the parliamentary summit of the Three Seas Initiative, which Croatia currently chairs. Ahead of the summit, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, held a series of bilateral meetings with the Speakers of Parliaments of the participating and associated member states.

The Three Seas Initiative was launched in 2015 as an informal initiative of Croatia and Poland. To date, it has developed into a political and economic platform aimed at achieving cohesion in the economic space between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic Seas.
