A total of 38 Croatian companies are participating in Eurosatory 2026, one of the world's largest defence and security exhibitions, currently taking place in Paris.

Of those, 31 companies are exhibiting at the Croatian national stand organised by the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Economy and the Alan Agency.

Held every two years, Eurosatory brings together defence manufacturers, military representatives, government officials and technology companies from around the world. This year's event features approximately 2,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries.

According to the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the national stand serves not only as a platform for presenting products and technologies, but also as an important venue for establishing international business and institutional partnerships.

HGK President Luka Burilović said the joint presentation provides Croatian companies with direct access to foreign delegations, decision-makers and potential business partners.

Defence Minister Ivan Anušić highlighted the growing international presence of Croatia's defence sector, noting that products developed by Croatian companies are already being used by armed forces across Europe and other parts of the world.

He said Croatia is seeking to strengthen its position as a producer and exporter of defence equipment rather than remaining solely a purchaser.

"We do not want to be only purchasers of defence equipment. We want to develop and manufacture our own products and offer them on international markets. Our stand has attracted significant interest, and the fact that Croatian companies are presenting together in a unified exhibition space demonstrates the strength and interconnectedness of our defence industry," Anušić said.

Economy Minister Ante Šušnjar pointed to opportunities created by growing European investment in defence and security capacities, saying Croatian companies are well positioned to participate in future research, development and production projects.

The appearance at Eurosatory forms part of a broader effort to promote Croatia's defence industry internationally. Following the Paris exhibition, Croatian manufacturers are expected to participate in Enforce Tac and Milipol in 2027, having already showcased their products at Enforce Tac 2026 earlier this year.
