Fans can now enter World Cup 2026 ticket draw

Beginning today and running until January 13, fans can submit their names for a draw to get the chance to purchase tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 

The tournament, the largest in history, will feature 48 teams playing 104 matches across 16 host cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Nikša Martinac from the Croatian Football Federation explained how the ticket process works.

"To participate, register on FIFA’s ticket website with basic information and a credit or debit card," he said. "In early February, FIFA will announce the results of the draw, and all participants will be notified by email. Prices announced today for our fans are fixed until purchase in February, after which they may fluctuate based on the market."

Croatia has been drawn into Group L alongside England, Panama, and Ghana.

The opening match for the Croatian national team will take place on June 17, 2026, against England in Dallas at 16:00 local time (22:00 Croatian time). Their second game sees them face Panama on June 24 in Toronto at 19:00 local time (01:00 Croatian time), followed by the final group match against Ghana on June 27 in Philadelphia at 17:00 local time (23:00 Croatian time).

These fixtures mark an exciting chapter for the national team as it seeks to build on its strong recent performances. Croatia reached the finals at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and made finished with the bronze medal in Qatar 2022.
