Most MP Zvonimir Troskot called on the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday to disclose financial records related to companies implicated in the Gospić waste case, including an alleged €580,000 in payments to waste disposal company CEZAR and others.

Troskot said the information could shed light on the case and announced that Most would contact the Information Commissioner after receiving no response to data it released in November 2025.

“Most released this data on November 8, 2025. We have not received any response, which is why we are going to contact the Information Commissioner to seek answers from Andrej Plenković’s government, which was involved in all of this, passing laws in 2019 and 2021 that further facilitated the dumping of this type of waste,” Troskot said.

The Ministry of Finance issued a brief response, saying it could not provide any additional information beyond what has already been made public because the investigation is ongoing.

The ministry referred to a February 2025 statement by Croatia’s anti-corruption agency USKOK, which confirmed that 10 individuals and four legal entities are under investigation on suspicion of multiple environmental crimes.
