In the second of two international friendlies ahead of the 2026 World Cup, Croatia will face Brazil in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday, March 31st.

Youngster Luka Vušković, who scored his first international goal against Colombia last week, said he’s looking forward to taking on the five-time world champions.

“Teams are forged through difficult matches against strong opponents. Colombia is currently one of the best in the world, and so is Brazil. Playing against teams of that level is the only way we can build and grow as a team,” Vušković said.

At just 19 years, one month, and three days old, Vušković became the second-youngest player ever to score a goal for Croatia.

“I’m really happy to have scored my first goal for Croatia. Of course, I hope there will be many more, but I’m especially pleased it helped us get back into the game and secure the win,” he added.

Goalkeeper Dominik Livaković also praised the young talent. “Thankfully, he’s Croatian. At only 19 years old, he’s an exceptionally mature player. His value on the transfer market is already very high. We’re very glad to have him on the national team,” Livaković said.
