Brozović to earn a reported €30 million per year with Al Nassr

According to media reports, Croatian national team midfielder Marcelo Brozović is set to transfer from Italian side Inter Milan to Al Nassr. This comes following weeks of speculation that he was on his way to either Spanish giants Barcelona or the club from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

According to as yet unconfirmed reports, the three year deal will see Marcelo Brozović earn €30 million per year with an additional ten million signing bonus. At Al Nassr Brozović will join Portuguese star Christiano Ronaldo. The club is currently being managed by fellow Croatian Dinko Jeličić, who for the time being is in a custodial role with the team. Endless speculation that he was on his way to Barcelona all but ended when the Spanish side announced that they could not match Al Nassr’s offer. The 30 year-old Brozović has been capped 87 times and has scored 7 goals for the national team-

Meanwhile, fellow Croatian international, Mislav Oršić has transferred from English side Southampton to Trabzonspor in Turkey, which is also being managed by a Croatian, his former Dinamo Zagreb coach Nenad Bjelica. The winger and attacking midfielder has been capped 27 times and has score two goals for the national side. His latest and most important goal for the national side came when he scored the winning goal in Croatia’s 2:1 win over Morocco in the third place game at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
