Croatia ready to ramp up drone production

produce several million FPV drones per year—or as many as needed.

Currently, Croatia manufactures about 200,000 drones annually, used by its own forces as well as by Bulgaria, the U.S., France, and Saudi Arabia. Officials say they aim to boost production and expand exports.


At the same time, Croatia is set to sign a deal for anti-drone systems to protect critical infrastructure. Anušić said:


“Very soon, we’ll be signing a deal with one Croatian and one foreign company to procure and develop anti-drone defenses for our critical infrastructure. This will be quickly implemented to serve as protection against a potential drone attack.”
