Anušić paid tribute to Holocaust victims in Jerusalem and announced strengthening cooperation with Israel

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ivan Anušić continued his official visit to Israel with a visit to Jerusalem, where he visited Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial Center.

This is the third day of the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia, led by Minister Ivan Anušić, who visited Yad Vashem with the entire delegation.

He laid a wreath in front of the eternal flame and paid homage to all victims of the Holocaust. It was an opportunity to remember the tragedy and persecution of the Jewish people, which should remain as a permanent memory, but also a warning to all generations.

At the end of the visit, Anušić spoke about further bilateral talks with colleagues in Israel, Jerusalem, and further in Tel Aviv in the afternoon and tomorrow.

“A very successful visit, a great space for cooperation, for the development of our mutual defense industry economies, and in that direction we will act and move and take the next steps after returning to Croatia,” said Anušić.
