The conference - the largest of its kind in the region - discusses current trends and key challenges, as well as the future of the tourism sector by bringing together top experts, decision-makers, and innovators.

Tourism Minister Tonči Glavina, who was in attendance on Tuesday, said that 2025 was the first year ever that record tourism numbers were not generated only in the two summer months. He underlined that it meant Croatia was reducing seasonality, which, for years, had been one of the country's biggest challenges.

Member of European Parliament (HDZ) Nikolina Brnjac, the former Tourism Minister in the Andrej Plenković government, said Europe was drafting a strategy for sustainable tourism.

"The goal is to see how climate change affects tourism and how tourism affects local communities and the environment. All the challenges that Croatia is facing are also being faced by other EU member states," said Brnjac.

TOURISM 365 organizer Ivana Kolar surmised that the Croatian tourism industry was "doing great". Croatia is recognized around the world as a tourist destination. "People make the effort to come to Croatia," she said.
