Average Zagreb salary 1623 euros

The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for July this year was 1623 euros, which is nominally 0.6 percent less than in June, but an increase of 7.8 percent compared to July last year.

The median net salary for July was 1415 euros, which means that half of employed Zagreb residents had less and half more than that amount.

According to data from the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for July was paid in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas, in the amount of 2347 euros.

The lowest salary was recorded in the production of leather and related products, in the amount of 946 euros.

Compared to the average monthly salary for July at the Croatian level, which was 1,437 euros, the average Zagreb net salary paid for that month was 186 euros higher.

The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for July this year was 2,318 euros, which is a decrease of 0.6 percent compared to June, but an increase of eight percent compared to July 2024.
