State Office for Croats living abroad issues tender to support projects of interest to Croats outside of Croatia

The Central State Office for Croats outside of Croatia has called upon non-profit organizations in the Croatian diaspora to submit their projects of interest to Croats outside of Croatia for a public tender worth 2.5 million kuna.

The lowest amount that can be received for an individual project is 5000 kuna, while the most is 80 000 kuna. The same person or organization can apply for a maximum of two projects, while responses to the public tender can be submitted until March 20th, 2020.

Individuals and non-profit organizations in Croatia and abroad (associations, foundations, religious communities etc.) can apply for the public tender.  

The Central Office will financially support projects that preserve and strengthen the Croatian national identity, protect the rights and interests of Croatian communities outside Croatia, preserve the Croatian language, heritage and cultural creation, stimulate culture, and economic cooperation of those communities with Croatia and amongst each other.

Projects will be supported that encourage return and integration of Croats outside Croatia and their families into social and economic life in Croatia, as well as projects that of social, development and humanitarian support for threatened individuals and Croat communities outside Croatia.
