Foreign language news back on HRT4

As of this week, Croatian Radio-television (HRT) is once again broadcasting its daily foreign language TV news program in English, German, and Spanish on HRT4 and HTV Int.

Television news in English is back on the air at its regular 23:00 CET time-slot on HRT4. News in German follows directly afterward on the same channel.

The Spanish news is aired every morning at 06:00 CET in order to accommodate the timezone difference for their many viewers in South America. Most of the estimated 600,000 people of Croatian descent living on the continent are in Argentina and Chile.

TV news in English, German, and Spanish is a unique service in Croatia co-produced by the Central State Office for Croats Abroad and HRT’s Information Media Service. All of the news anchors are native speakers of their respective languages who have successfully passed the same rigorous training program of their Croatian colleagues.
