The 2026 FIFA World Cup is in full siwng. Croatia's World Cup journey began on Wednesday with Zlatko Dalić's team showing character, quality, and resilience, but ultimately they fell to England 4-2 in a fast-paced Group L opener. The team has since refocused, and set their sights on Panama. Croatia captain Luka Modrić is set to reach another remarkable milestone when he makes his 200th appearance for the national on Wednesday. Croatia's Mate Pavić and Salvadoran Marcelo Arévalo won the doubles title at the Queen's Club Championships.
