Orqa, a Croatian firm specializing in advanced FPV drones and unmanned systems, has been included in the FT 1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, published by the Financial Times in cooperation with Statista, the company announced on Tuesday.

In this year’s ranking, Osijek-based Orqa placed second in the Aerospace & Defense category and 135th overall among the 1,000 fastest-growing companies in Europe.

Founder Ivan Jelušić said the recognition highlights both technological and commercial success:

“Being included in the FT 1000 is extremely important for us, as it confirms that our growth is not only technological, but also commercially sustainable and internationally relevant.”

He added that second place in the Aerospace & Defense segment demonstrates Orqa’s competitiveness with leading European companies in the sector.

The ranking comes amid strong growth in Europe’s defense technology and drone industry, driven by rising demand for domestically developed, advanced solutions, the company said.

Orqa's revenues went from around 1.5 million euros in 2021 to more than 12 million in 2024.
