As part of the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Croatian Radio, the state broadcaster is making an attempt to break the Guinness World Record in the "Most presenters in a radio marathon" category.

The attempt officially began at noon on Croatian Radio's Second program, and is being held under the watchful eye of Guinness judge Seyda Subasi, who had this to say prior to the start: “At about 12 o'clock we are going to start and the attempt will last until tomorrow at around three or four pm. The minimum requirement set by Guinness World Records in order to achieve this title is one hundred hosts. So, let's see and wait. I can feel the excitement. Everyone is nervous. Tomorrow in the afternoon I will be able to announce the official result.”

The attempt is being held under the title “One Hundred Voices for One Hundred Years.” The Editor-in-Chief of Croatian Radio Eliana Čandrlić Glibota: “Croatian Radio is celebrating the New Year and 100 years of radio programming by attempting to break the Guinness World Record with a non-stop marathon show titled: One hundred hours, one hundred voices. The show began exactly at noon today. The record attempt will take about 26 hours and feature 105 radio personalities speaking for fifteen minutes each.”
