The "Domovina" Summer School, a program in which the fifth generation of participants - members of the Croatian diaspora between the ages of 18 and 30 - will have the opportunity to firsthand experience the natural, cultural and historical heritage of Croatia, begins on June 1st.
In two weeks, from June 1st to 13th, "during an educational and experiential journey through the homeland of their ancestors", participants will visit, among others, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Sinj, Split, Varaždin, Vukovar and Zagreb, and these are just some of the cities that participants will visit during their educational and experiential journey through the homeland of their ancestors, connecting with young people from different parts of the world with whom they share Croatian roots and identity.
The Domovina Summer School program was created in cooperation with the Central State Office for Croats Abroad and the Association of Croatian-American Professionals (ACAP).
Since 2019, it has successfully connected Croatian communities around the world, and is carried out with the aim of strengthening Croatian identity and awareness of the Croatian diaspora's belonging to the one and indivisible Croatian people, encouraging global networking of Croats, and cultural and scientific cooperation between Croatia and the young generations of its diaspora.
