Croatian Agriculture Minister David Vlajčić has arrived in Córdoba, Argentina, where he will represent Croatia at the 9th Gathering of the Croatian Diaspora in South America. While the journey itself went smoothly, there was a minor mishap with his luggage, meaning the minister arrived at the event in a somewhat more casual outfit than planned.
“We sent our suitcases to the other side of the world, but we made it to the right place. Thank God, we landed safely, and everything else is fine,” Vlajčić told the Glas Hrvatske team, which is covering the event in Córdoba.
Despite the missing luggage, the minister was in good spirits and ready to meet with Croatian emigrants and their descendants.
“I’m ready to represent Croatia,” he said with a smile, adding that, for the time being, he would be doing so in casual attire.
