Speaking after a meeting of the Presidency of Croatian Parliament on Tuesday, the Speaker of Parliament announced that the next session of Parliament would begin on April 12th, lasting 14 weeks until June 14th.

Speaking to reporters after meeting with the parliamentary presidency on Tuesday, Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković confirmed that changes to the election law are being planned, but added that these will not be major changes relative to the existing legislation: "We're not going to go with sweeping changes, instead we will adapt the existing system, so that every vote is weighted equally. I'm reasonably certain that there will be a redrawing of the boundaries of an adjusting of electoral districts, but the number of MPs and number of districts would remain the same."

Jandroković said that he believes that the changes to the Law on the Election of Members of the Croatian Parliament will be in its first reading before the summer break, while the second reading could come in the autumn session: "There is enough time, it is important that we started on time and that we will start this process now, before the summer break, and finish it immediately after the summer break," Jandroković pointed out.

When asked, Jandroković did not specify when the reconstruction of the parliament building, which was damaged in the March 22nd, 2020 earthquake would begin: "After last year's withdrawal of the consortium chosen for the works, a tender for project documentation was announced. It is expected that this will be defined by the summer, and then the tender for the works will be launched."
