The Croatian Parliament has passed a budget revision, increasing revenues by 853 million euros and spending by 745 million euros, while reducing the budget deficit. A heated debate erupted today at the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Policy and National Security over the Gospić waste case. Serbia's new government will face a number of domestic political challenges, including demands by the Croatian national minority for equal rights to those enjoyed by the Serbian minority in Croatia.
