Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman for their support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman for their support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Plenković received the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 1st degree, while Grlić Radman was awarded the Order of Merit, 2nd degree.
The honors were announced on Ukraine’s Independence Day, when Zelensky released a list of about 200 foreign officials recognized for their contributions.
According to the Ukrainian President’s Office, the awards were given “for significant personal contributions to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, charitable activities, and promoting Ukraine worldwide.”
Plenković was placed in the highest category of awardees, alongside the presidents of Portugal, Finland, and the Czech Republic, as well as the prime ministers of the Netherlands, Norway, and Moldova.
Grlić Radman shared his recognition with high-ranking officials such as Latvia’s foreign minister, Norway’s defense minister, International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mariano Grossi, and OECD Secretary General Mathias Cormann.
