Croatia welcomed 4.7 million tourist arrivals in July, an increase of 2.5 percent compared with the same month last year, according to e-Visitor data.

In the first seven months of the year, Croatia recorded 12.4 million tourist arrivals, one percent more than in the same period of 2025.

Tourists from Germany accounted for the largest number of foreign arrivals, followed by visitors from Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.

"This result is a strong confirmation of the competitiveness and resilience of Croatian tourism. We are satisfied with what was achieved in the first seven months, as well as with the positive financial results, which all show that we responded well to market circumstances," Tourism Minister Tonči Glavina said.

Istria recorded the highest number of tourist visits, followed by Split-Dalmatia County and the northern Adriatic region of Kvarner.

Tourism spending also increased significantly. The value of fiscalized receipts issued in July was 18 percent higher than in July last year, while the number of receipts issued increased by eight percent.

The latest figures point to continued growth in Croatia's tourism sector, both in terms of visitor numbers and consumer spending.
