Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Croatian Veterans Affairs Tomo Medved visited locations in the Sveta Nedelja area where execution sites from the period after World War II were confirmed and remains from two mass graves were found and exhumed.
“We found two mass graves, a total of 49 male individuals, seven of whom are younger than 20, and between 16 and 20 years old. This is evidence of the crime committed against the Croatian people after World War II by partisan units. These 49 individuals were killed simply because they were Croats,” said Tomo Medved, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Croatian Veterans Affairs.
