Milanović proposes that National Security Council and Defense Council meet next week

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović accepted the proposal to convene sessions of the National Security Council and the Defense Council and proposed that they be held next week.

President Zoran Milanović accepted the proposal to convene sessions of the National Security Council and the Defense Council, his office reported. As stated in the statement, on Friday, March 20, President Milanović responded to the letter from Prime Minister Andrej Plenković dated March 17.

Proposed dates and topics

In his response, he accepted the proposal to convene the sessions and agreed with the need to hold them, as well as with the topics that should be discussed at them. The President of the Republic proposed that the sessions of the National Security Council and the Defense Council be held next week.

Given the agreement reached on the need to hold the sessions and their topics, President Milanović expects that the announced sessions will be held soon.
