Defense Minister Ivan Anušić announced on Friday, during a visit to the Osijek-based Orqa Company, that the Croatian public will see FPV drones produced by the company for the first time at the ceremonial military parade of the Croatian Army, which will be held on July 31 in Zagreb.
“We have a unique Croatian product, an FPV drone that was developed and completely manufactured in Croatia. The Croatian public will have the opportunity to see these drones for the first time at the ceremonial parade of the Croatian Army,” said Minister Ivan Anušić.
The minister added that he was convinced that in the Orqa Company, young and professional Croatian engineers, are creating a drone that is in demand on both the European and global markets.
Orqa co-founder Ivan Jelušić and a team of his associates presented the Minister of Defense with plans to develop and increase the production capacities of this company, which produces FPV drones whose key components are developed and manufactured in Croatia.
“The fact that our technological solutions are in demand across Western markets is of great importance, not only for Orqa, but also for the overall development of the Croatian robotics industry. By working together and continuing excellent cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, we can raise the Croatian defense and technology industry to an enviable international level,” said Jelušić.
The Orqa Company produced around 150,000 of these systems last year, and by increasing capacity, the production of FPV drones will be tripled.
Orqa's FPV drones will be displayed as part of the echelon of new assets of the Croatian Army in a ceremonial military parade to be held on July 31 at 5 p.m. in Zagreb.
