Dubrovnik Winter Festival without Advent stands on Stradun

The Dubrovnik Winter Festival will be held from November 29 to January 3 with more than 200 entertainment and cultural events for all ages, but without Advent stands on Stradun.

City Head of Culture, Heritage and Tourism Julijana Antić Brautović pointed out on Monday at the presentation of the Winter Festival at the Pucić Palace Hotel that this is the richest edition so far, for which 1.3 million euros will be allocated, and part of that amount is expected to be covered by sponsors.

“15 different organizers are participating in the program, who have created interesting content, of which 60 are for the youngest. We also have great performers on Stradun, without Advent stands, which will be on other squares. This is a new concept of the food offering that the organizers themselves proposed,” said Antić Brautović.

Director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board Miro Drašković said that a series of promotional campaigns were carried out ahead of Advent, primarily in the region, and that they want Dubrovnik to be a year-round destination.

“We expect a large turnout of guests. At least six hotels will be open, and 13 for New Year's Eve. They are satisfied with the occupancy, and we also have enough airline lines,” said Drašković.

Dubrovnik residents and guests of the city will also enjoy concerts by Mania ABBA Tribute, Parni valjak, Domenica and Ante Cash, Vanna, Željko Bebek and Dražen Zečić at the same venue during December.

In addition, the program includes the Dubrovnik Christmas Concert and the New Year's Concert of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, "North Pole Station" in Pile, "Colorful Winter" in Uvala, Advent on Vojnović, Advent in Gruž, Tip Top TUP, Christmas Fairy Tale, “Grinchovanje” on Lovrjenac, Cod Days,a Live Nativity Scene and Cake Party.

A novelty is a carousel in Brsalje, along with two ice rinks in Uvala and Mokošica.

The New Year 2026 will be ushered in by Dino Merlin, along with Hiljson Mandela and Jakov Jozinović, and Jacques Houdek will perform at the children's reception. On the first day of 2026, Petar Grašo will perform on Stradun, and on January 2, Tomislav Bralić and the Intrade a capella group.

For Dubrovnik residents, public transport is free every day during the DWF from 5 pm, and for tourists, the Dubrovnik Pass, a digital ticket to the most important Dubrovnik attractions, is offered at half price.

The organizer of the 12th Dubrovnik Winter Festival program is a public Institution in the culture of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
