Zubčić finishes 5th in the overall standings

The last race of the FIS World Cup ski season was held in Lenzerheide, Switzerland on Sunday, with the men’s slalom.

Croatia's Filip Zubčić finished 13th in Sunday’s slalom, 2.35 seconds behind the winner, Austria’s Manuel Feller. France’s Clement Noel was 2nd, only eight hundredths of a second behind Feller, while fellow Frenchman Alexis Pintaurault was 3rd, eleven hundredths of a second behind the winner.

The 2020/2021 season was the best of Zubčić’s career with six podium finishes, including two wins. He also took the silver medal at the World Championships in the parallel slalom. The Croatian finishes the season 5th in the overall standings. Pintaurault took 1st place, followed by Switzerland’s Marco Odermatt and Austrian Marco Schwartz.
