Croatia's Marin Čilić has advanced to the finals of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow after beating Lithuanian Ričardas Berankis, 6:3, 6:4, in Saturday’s semifinal in one hour and 33 minutes of play.

For Marin Čilić, this is his second appearance in an ATP final this year, winning the ATP tournament in Stuttgart in June. Stuttgart was the 19th career title for the 33-year-old Međugorje native. On Sunday he will be looking for his 20th title in his 34th career final. Two of Čilić’s ATP titles were won in Moscow, winning the tournament back-to-back in 2014 and 2015.

Čilić will play the winner of the all-Russian semifinal between Karen Khachanov and Aslan Karatsev for the title on Sunday. So far Čilić has played each of them once, both in Cincinnati. He defeated Khachanov in 2018, and Karatsev earlier this year.
