What are cookies?
Cookies are information that your computer stores on the internet pages you have visited. Your settings or internet page settings. Furthermore, they can store a wide range of information including personal information (Your name and e-mail address). In the same manner internet pages cannot gain access to information that you have not shared and cannot access other files on your computer. Cookies are not a computer program, they cannot be executed as a code and cannot be used to spread a virus.
There are temporary cookies that can be removed from your computer after closing the internet browser. With them the website stores data, such as user name and password, so that you do not have to sign in when visiting a certain site. Permanent cookies will remain on the computer for days, months, even years. On social networks, sharing an article sets cookies for the user.
By disabling cookies you decide of you will allow them to be stored on your computer. Setting for cookies can be controlled and configured in your internet browser. However, if you disable cookies, you will not be able to use certain functions on the internet page.
