Parliament's Committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and Political System on Wednesday recommended by majority vote that parliament forward both of the Most party's referendum quesitions regarding the coronavirus pandemic to the Constitutional Court for assessment.

The first question relates to the elimination of COVID certificates; while the second seeks to have parliament - not the national crisis management team - decide on any eventual restrictions on personal rights and freedoms by a two-thirds majority.

Most leader Božo Petrov said the conditions for holding the referendum have already been met and that it should be called without the Constitutional Court's opinion.

The Constitutional Court has 30 days to decide whether the referendum questions are in compliance with the Constitution.
