The prestigious American travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler has listed the Croatian beaches Nugal in Makarska and Zlatni rat in Bol among the top 25 most beautiful European beaches, said Ina Rodin, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in the USA.
“The latest publication of one of the most influential and widely read American travel magazines confirms that Croatia is maintaining visibility and a positive image in the American market. Despite the current situation, due to which we do not expect a large number of American guests this year, it is important to continuously maintain the interest and perception of our country as a safe and attractive tourist destination,” said Croatian National Tourist Board Director Kristjan Staničić.
In its post, Condé Nast Traveler highlights all the benefits of Nugal beach, such as the spectacular view and the crystal clear sea, which makes the 40-minute walk to the beach absolutely worthwhile.
The advantages of Zlatni rat beach are also mentioned, which, with its striking and unusual shape, is ideal for fans of water sports such as sailing or upright windsurfing. In addition to the two Croatian beaches, the list of the 25 most beautiful beaches includes numerous Greek, French, Spanish and Italian beaches.
