Since the coronavirus first appeared in Croatia, on February 25th of 2020, health care workers have conducted 1 629 803 tests, with an overall test positivity rate of 17.8%.
According to the latest data from the National Civil Protection Directorate, 2 535 new positive coronavirus test results have been registered in Croatia over the past 24 hours. With 10 140 tests conducted in that period, Croatia's test positivity rate now stands at 25 percent, down from 28.9% yesterday. 34 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported, while 2 035 people have been given a clean bill of health.
Currently there are 13 666 active positive test results in Croatia, of which 1 796 people are receiving treatment in hospital. 180 patients are on ventilators. 29 718 people are in self-isolation.
Since the beginning of the outbreak in Croatia, on February 25th of last year, 290 899 people have tested positive for the coronavirus, of which 270 964 have since been given a clean bill of health. A total of 6 269 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported.
As of Friday, Croatia has administered 565 785 doses of the coronavirus vaccine to 458 762 people, of which 350 053 have only received their first shot, while 107 023 people have received their second shot. There is insufficient data on the number of doses received by 1 686 people reported as having been vaccinated.
