According to the latest data from the National Civil Protection Directorate, 422 new positive coronavirus test results have been registered in Croatia over the past 24 hours. With 3 201 tests conducted in that period, Croatia's test positivity rate now stands at just over 13%, which is a continuation of the downward trend in the national positivity rate of recent days. 25 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported, while 1 794 people have been given a clean bill of health.

Since the beginning of the outbreak in Croatia, on February 25th of last year, 292 938 people have tested positive for the coronavirus, of which 274 761 have since been given a clean bill of health. A total of 6 333 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported. To date more than one million, six hundred and forty-two thousand people have been tested. Currently 26 303 people are in self-isolation.

As of yesterday, Croatia has administered 588 183 doses of the coronavirus vaccine to 477 617 people, of which 365 323 have only received their first shot, while 110 566 people have received their second shot. There is insufficient data on the number of doses received by 1 728 people reported as having been vaccinated. As announced yesterday, Croatia is expecting to receive an additional 70 thousand doses next week. Government has set a target of having half of the population vaccinated by the summer.
