Since the beginning of the outbreak on February 25th, 5 740 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Croatia, meaning roughly 0.0014 percent of the population. So far 4 962 people have achieved a full recovery.

Two coronavirus-related deaths were also recorded, bringing the national total to 160 recorded deaths, which is less than 0.00004 percent of the population. It is worth noting however, that the vast majority of coronavirus related deaths were people of an advanced age with serious underlying health conditions.

Currently there are 618 active cases in the country, of which 115 are receiving treatment in hospital. Five patients are on respirators. More than 130 thousand people have been tested for the virus, of which 1 309 in the past 24 hours alone.
