In the last 24 hours, 58 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Croatia, currently there are 633 people infected with the virus.
According to a report from the County Teaching Institute of Public Health, in Split-Dalmatia County today there were 15 new cases of coronavirus infection.
“Today we have a little more than yesterday, but everything is still under control with a lot less than in neighboring countries. So we are proud and satisfied with that,” said Minister of Health Vili Beroš when speaking about the current state of affairs in the country.
The celebration of today's holiday was held under special epidemiological measures.
“You saw for yourselves that we were all distanced, all elements were taken into account and I think this is an example of how a public gathering can and must be organized in these coronavirus times,” said Beroš.
In Vukovar-Srijem County there were eleven new cases of coronavirus infection, currently there are nine people in the hospital, while 508 people are in self-isolation.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours in Osijek-Baranja County, 184 people were tested of which eight were positive for the coronavirus.
In Zagreb there were five new cases of infection, while 13 people have been sent into self-isolation. At the same time, all tested residents and workers from homes for the elderly in Zagreb, were negative for the coronavirus.
Karlovac County had three, while Primorje - Gorski Kotar County has two new cases of infection.
There was one new case of infection each in Lika-Senj, Bjelovar-Bilogora, Zagreb and Brod-Posavina Counties in the last 24 hours.
There were no new cases of infection in Zadar, Sisak-Moslavina and Istra counties.
