Currently, just over two thousand people are infected, and almost 9 thousand are in self-isolation. There are 300 patients in hospitals, 24 of whom are on respirators. Two people have died.

In the past week, police and inspectors have been conducting stricter supervision of the application of epidemiological measures in social welfare institutions, shops, at concerts and nightclubs, and 5 misdemeanor charges have been filed.

Most of the infected today are in Split-Dalmatia County - 76, followed by Zagreb with 45 cases. The number of infected students and preschoolers is also increasing in the city of Zagreb, and there are currently 50 of them.

“I would especially like to emphasize that with testing we have found one positive student in the second grade of the 10th secondary school, and self-isolation has been ordered for 25 students in his class,” said the Director of the Teaching Institute for Public Health Zvonimir Šostar.
