212 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Croatia. There are 288 patients in hospital, 24 of whom are on respirators.
Split-Dalmatia County has the highest number of newly infected people again - 52, while Zagreb has 38. Zagreb County also has a large number - 21, most are related to gatherings and weddings.
In the meantime there are more and more final court rulings in favor of doctors due to inadequate calculation of overtime. Their union warns that most hospitals are refusing to pay their debts, so they are forced to get their money through foreclosures.
"In an effort to buy time, legal services are appealing first-instance verdicts, even though they are aware that they will lose the cases, which increases the debts. We wonder on whose instructions and who is responsible," said union leader Renata Čulinovic Čaić.
