Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Croatia.
Expressing his welcome, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković highlighted the good and friendly relations between Croatia and Kosovo and emphasized the support that Croatia provides to Kosovo in all forums, with an emphasis on membership in international organizations, especially the EU and the Council of Europe.
He welcomed the submission of Kosovo's application for EU membership, and reiterated his support for visa liberalization with Kosovo.
Regarding bilateral relations, he emphasized the potential for further improvement of economic cooperation after the recent Croatian-Kosovo business forum held in Priština, and emphasized Croatia's constant care and concern regarding the position of the Croatian community in Kosovo.
