The announced visit of Croatian President Zoran Milanović to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the trip to mark the 28th anniversary of the humanitarian convoy "White Road to Nova Bila and Bosna Srebrena" today have been canceled due to security reasons. The decision to cancel the visit is based on a security assessment by the competent institutions of the Republic of Croatia.

President Zoran Milanović regrets that he will not take part in the commemoration of this important event for the Croats of the Lašva Valley, and expressed strong support and gratitude to the organizers of the commemoration for preserving the memory of the humanitarian convoy "White Road to Nova Bila and Bosna Srebrena,” said a statement from the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia.

The Croatian National Assembly (HNS) of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed regret over the cancellation of President Zoran Milanovic's visit to central Bosnia, saying that months of tension and political crises, hate speech and conflict had created an uncertain atmosphere in the country.
