The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs confirmed the death of a Croatian humanitarian in Ukraine, adding that it is providing his family with consular and other assistance.

We confirm the information about the fatality of a Croatian citizen who worked for a non-governmental humanitarian organization in Ukraine, the ministry told the HINA news agency.

The consular service of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, together with the Embassy in Ukraine, is providing the family with all consular and other assistance, within its jurisdiction.

According to the media, this is a man from Zagreb, Andro Fabijanić, who died on Tuesday from an explosion of an anti-tank mine. He worked for the For Heroes association from the city of Dnipro, which delivered medical aid to Ukrainian fighters.
