Croatian ambassador leaves Kyiv

Croatian Ambassador to Ukraine Anica Djamić has left Kyiv and is on her way to Lviv, reported Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

“Given the deteriorating security situation in Kyiv and the attacks on the capital of Ukraine, yesterday I instructed our ambassador Anica Djamić to leave Kyiv,” said Andrej Plenković at a press conference.

The ambassador is on her way to Lviv, where she will stay and perform her duty, help Croatian citizens and monitor the situation in Ukraine.

“She is well and we believe that she will be safe in Lviv, a city in the west of Ukraine,” said Plenković.
