The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović discussed the need to develop the capabilities of the Croatian Army and analyzed the US offer of Bradley combat vehicles at a working meeting with the military leadership, announced the Office of the President on Monday.

The meeting held at the Office of President Zoran Milanović was attended by the Croatian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, Admiral Robert Hranj, the Commander of the Croatian Army, Colonel General Boris Šerić, and the Director of the Croatian Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Ivica Olujić.

They discussed the situation in the Armed Forces, emphasizing the need to develop the capabilities of the Croatian Army.

The military leadership presented the results of a study on the necessity and possibilities of equipping the Croatian Army with tracked combat vehicles to Milanović.

In this context, the US government's offer for Bradley combat vehicles was analyzed in particular.

The American offer, which includes the donation and modernization of vehicles and equipment, expires at the end of January 2022, so it is necessary to make a decision as soon as possible, said the statement.
