“This is a time when in peace we can all question what we do, our actions and decisions. To strive to gather thoughts and be even better towards others and those who need help,” said Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, who attended Easter Mass in the new Blessed Alojzije Stepinac place of worship on Zagreb’s Kaptol.
He expressed satisfaction that the mass was attended by refugees from Ukraine, mothers with children. He mentioned that a great tragedy befell the Ukrainian people these days and this Easter.
“Croatia and Croats once again show great heart and give great support to the Ukrainian people and those who found their temporary home in Croatia,” said Andrej Plenković.
In addition to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers Tomo Medved and Davor Božinović, Minister of Culture and Media Nina Obuljen Koržinek and Minister of Foreign Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman were also present at the mass.
