Number of newly infected dropping: 5,709 cases of coronavirus infection in Croatia today

In Croatia, 5,709 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the last 24 hours, almost 430 cases less than last Wednesday.

In the last 24 hours, 5,709 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection were recorded, and there are a total of 32,014 active cases in Croatia today. There are 2,454 patients in hospitals, of which 312 are on respirators. 68 people have died. The share of positives among those tested is 40 percent.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was registered in Croatia, a total of 613,914 people infected with the new coronavirus have been recorded, of which 10,967 have died. A total of 570,933 people recovered, of which 3,064 in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 24,332 people in self-isolation. To date, a total of 3,463,550 people have been tested, of which 14,252 in the last 24 hours.

As of November 30, 2021 4,154,022 doses of vaccine were consumed, and 53.90% of the total population and 64.32% of the adult population were vaccinated. On November 30, 2021 22,516 doses of vaccine were consumed, and 6,896 persons were vaccinated with the first dose.

As of November 30, 2021 2,187,524 people were vaccinated with at least one dose, and among them 1,944,167 people completed vaccination (1,768,517 people received two doses and 175,650 people received the Jannsen vaccine), which makes up 57.41% of the adult population.
