Prime Minister Andrej Plenković issued his condolences to the Tuđman family: "The son of the first Croatian President, Franjo Tuđman, and a participant in the Homeland War, contributed to the realization of his father's vision of the creation of a free, sovereign, independent and democratic Croatia, its international recognition and territorial integrity, and the building of political, social and scientific institutions."

Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković also issued a statement expressing his condolences to the Tuđman family: "In his work, he always defended Croatian national interests and advocated for a better position for the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although often a very discreet and private person, he remained loyal to his beliefs, protecting his personal integrity and the dignity of the Croatian Parliament."

Academic and Deputy Parliament Speaker and a fellow member of the HDZ, Željko Reiner: "With his departure, we have lost an excellent politician and patriot, an expert in his field and a man who contributed to the freedom and independence of our homeland. We also lost a dear colleague, who was always measured in his words, cordial, reliable and credible." Reiner added that Tuđman’s well argumented approach in parliament, his cordial nature and the respect he showed towards his political opponents, will forever be remembered in Croatian political life, and will serve as an example for future generations of politicians.

Homeland Movement Party President Miroslav Škoro: "Tuđman left a deep and indelible mark on Croatian science and education as the founder of information sciences in Croatia.
