On Friday morning, Zagreb firefighters will continue to inspect potentially dangerous locations with drones, all with the aim of increasing safety and reducing the risk of accidents, in preparation for non-structural and structural reconstruction of buildings after the earthquake.

The City Administration announced today that from 8 am certified employees of the Public Fire Brigade of the City of Zagreb will once again pass through the pedestrian zone with flight equipment using three drones, which they have so far only inspected following reports from citizens.

The headquarters of the operation will be in Kurelčeva Street, where the vehicle of the Public Fire Brigade for communications and activities by drone will be located, as well as the command post.

They recall that since the earthquake in Banovina at the end of 2021, Zagreb firefighters have been continuously working on eliminating threats and have performed over 2000 interventions to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake.

For the past two weeks, the Public Fire Brigade has been conducting systematic preventive inspections of buildings in the Lower Town, said the statement.
