In the last 24 hours, 1,237 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection were recorded, and there are a total of 5,009 active cases in Croatia today. 540 patients are in hospital, 62 of whom are on respirators. Ten people have died.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was registered in Croatia, a total of 379,963 people infected with the new coronavirus have been recorded, of which 8,395 have died. A total of 366,559 people recovered, 417 of them in the last 24 hours.


There are currently 9,568 people in self-isolation.


To date, a total of 2,618,129 people have been tested, of which 10,928 in the last 24 hours.


As of September 7th, 3,308,183 doses of vaccine were consumed, and 43.05% of the total population and 51.69% of the adult population were vaccinated. On September 7th, 6,044 doses of the vaccine were consumed, and 3,156 people were vaccinated with the first dose.


As of September 7th, 1,747,068 people had been vaccinated with at least one dose, and vaccination was completed for 1,636,849 people (1,561,115 people received two doses and 75,734 people received the Jannsen vaccine), representing 48.50% of the adult population.


The number of newly infected by counties: Split-Dalmatia (209), City of Zagreb (223), Zagreb (136), Zadar (52), Osijek-Baranja (84), Dubrovnik-Neretva (46), Šibenik-Knin (20), Slavonski Brod-Posavina (53), Primorje-Gorski Kotar (60), Krapina-Zagorje (21), Vukovar-Srijem (28), Međimurje (15), Varaždin (42), Istria (18), Bjelovar-Bilogorje (49), Karlovac (54), Požega-Slavonia (19), Lika-Senj (17), Koprivnica-Križevci (34), Sisak-Moslavina (23) and Virovitica-Podravina (34).
