Croatia's test 24h positivity rate stands at roughly 6.3%

Currently there are 3 353 active positive test results in the country, of which 372 are receiving treatment in hospital. 47 patients are on ventilators. 494 people have been given a clean bill of health since yesterday.

According to the National Civil Protection Directorate, 596 new positive coronavirus test results have been registered over the past 24 hours. 9 532 tests were conducted since yesterday, giving Croatia a 24 hour test positivity rate of less than 6.3%. Two coronavirus-related deaths have been reported since yesterday.


Since the beginning of the outbreak in Croatia, on February 25th of last year, a total of 372 219 positive test results have been registered, of which 360 548 have since been given a clean bill of health. 8 318 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported. More than two and a half million tests have been conducted (2 510 859), and there are currently 7 295 people in self-isolation. Croatia's overall test positivity rate currently stands at just under 14.9%. Croatia's overall coronavirus case fatality rate stands at roughly 2.2%. When taken as a percentage of the total population, coronavirus-related deaths stand at roughly 0.2%. These data include both deaths from COVID-19 and deaths with COVID-19.


As of Thursday, Croatian health care workers have administered 3 244 822 doses of the coronavirus vaccine. Slightly more than 42% of the total population, or 50.69% of the adult population, have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 47.4% of the adult population have received both doses. 8 932 doses of the vaccine were administered yesterday alone.
